A few of my favorite things
I really, really wasn’t ready for this Monday to come. Four day weekends make me incredibly lazy. As in I dreamed of winning the lottery all weekend so I wouldn’t have to go back to work on Monday. (Things are not looking promising for me wanting to return to work after maternity leave here….) Since I failed to even buy a lottery ticket – I did drag myself to work today after all.
As I mentioned previously Joey and I split up for Thanksgiving this year. He went with his family and I went to my parents. I actually had a wonderful time just chilling with my folks. Joey helped his uncle string up Christmas lights and didn’t get home until around 11pm. So then he slept ALL DAY on Friday. I’m not kidding you when I say ALL DAY. I left the house after 4pm to have dinner at my parents again since my sister was going to be there with her kids and he was still in bed. Since he never actually gets vacation and it was a rainy, dreary kind of day – I only bitched half as much as I usually would.
Saturday we managed to be somewhat productive after a lazy start to the day. I finally managed to get him moving and out the door around 3pm. We hit up a few stores for some grocery essentials and Christmas lights. Then I guilt tripped him into putting our lights up on the house since he helped his uncle put his up! (It worked!) We realized that we didn’t have quite enough lights since this house is bigger than our old one so we stole the lights we usually put on our tree. He crawled around the attic getting everything down and still forgot a bag so he’ll be shuffling back up there later this week. I also started decorating the inside of our house for the holidays. I have a few favorite decorations that always give me the warm fuzzies when I put them out.
We are going to get our tree on Friday and I’ll probably thrift a bit this week to add to our decorating stash. Best of all – Jellybean will be here to spend next Christmas with us!
Have you started your holiday decorating yet? What are you looking forward to?

There’s these snowmen my niece and nephew made me ages ago. As in before they were even in school and now they are middle schoolers!
This Santa has quite a history with Joey and me. We may have tortured him a few times since he tends to fall over.
This little Santa is just the cutest thing with the way his feet hang down...
I love the fact that our windows are just made to trim for the holidays!
And who can resist decorating the mantle?

Conversations with Jellybean - Volume 11
If you are here for ICLW - Welcome - my story is here.
Conversations with Jellybean
Me: Hey Jellybean -
Jellybean: Yea, Mom?
Me: Hmm - I prefer yes, ma'am...anyhow. I think I'm giving you an eviction notice!
Jellybean: Whoa...I'm not ready to come out yet! It's warm in here. I'm comfy. It's safe.
Me: Well I didn't mean quite yet. See - you're supposed to have 10 more weeks in there but I'm thinking 8 weeks should be plenty.
Jellybean: I don't know Mom. I was thinking I wanted to stay in here for awhile yet. We really shouldn't rush things. I like to ease my way into it. I mean you don't want me to make rash decisions in life right?
Me: Jellybean - My back hurts no matter what position I am in. You have taken my heartburn to a level I didn't think was possible and I have actually considered bringing my laptop into the bathroom with me at work since I spend so much time in there anyway. I think 8 weeks is quite generous. Besides - we have toys out here -
Jellybean: I can't believe you think I'd be that shallow. Wait is that a Train? Oh and Elmo? Wait they light up and make noise? Maybe we can work something out here after all Mom!
Me: I thought that might persuade you, Jellybean!
And as always - it's time for a pregnancy status check -
How far along? 30 weeks. I have a feeling these next ten weeks are going to fly by.
Baby's size? The bump says a squash. Baby center says about 15.7 inches and weighs about 3lbs (like a head of cabbage).
Weight Gain? About 25 lbs so far. I still only weigh 123 lbs though so I'm not too stressed about it.
Maternity clothes? Mostly but I can get away with larger sizes in "Normal" clothes too. I always say only the three B's have grown - boobs, belly and butt.
Stretch marks? None.
Belly button in or out? Goodness. Did you see the picture up there? It's soooo OUT!

Sleep? Did I take a Tylenol PM and some heartburn meds? If so I'm probably sleeping. If not my chest is on fire and I can't get comfortable. I'm also up to pee at least twice a night.
Foods I am loving? Pizza - even though it gives me heartburn. Still obsessed with all things potato - mashed, baked, french fries, etc. Milk because it helps with the heartburn.
Foods I am hating? Tea - killer on the heartburn. Can't eat anything super greasy anyway.
Best moment this week? Spending Thanksgiving with my mom and dad. It was extra special after the year we had. I hate watching them get older though, It's a reality I am reluctant to face.
Movement? He's slowed down some. I imagine its getting cramped in there.
Symptoms? Braxton Hicks, dry skin, HEARTBURN, lower back pain, gas, peeing every two minutes...I'll stop there!
Gender? Still a boy.
What I miss? Being able to see my legs when I shave.
What I'm looking forward to? Baby shower #1 on Saturday.
Weekly Wisdom: Water, water and more water!
Milestone: Colostrum is in. That's been an interesting experience. I may have shown hubby that my boobs now do tricks! :) (Yup - there's my maturity again!) We will be in single digits for weeks left this week. Terrifying yet exciting. I have my three hour glucose test on Thursday.
Emotions: I'm a moody mess nowadays. The hormones are definitely in. So far hubby take sit in stride for the most part but everything pisses me off lately. At least I'm honest!

Upcoming CSN Product Review and some Black Friday deals
I feel pretty darn lucky that CSN Stores have offered me another chance to work with them! If you don't know already, CSN sells everything you could possible need and then some more. You can treat yourself to amazing children's toys, tv tables, or maybe a new bedroom set. Regardless of what you are looking for CSN Stores has it!
I had a pretty easy time deciding just what I would be reviewing. My dad has been clamoring on for months about how he would like a nut grinder/mill like my grandmother in Poland has. Especially since he read that walnuts help lower cholesterol. So when CSN offered me a $35 credit towards one of their items, I immediately jumped on their site to see if they had a nut grinder among their plethora of choices. And wouldn't you know it? They had one exactly like my dad had wanted.
It's actually advertised as a hard cheese grinder but we are open to thinking outside the box!
To top it off CSN Stores also has some awesome Black Friday deals that do not require fighting the crowds off or trying to find a parking spot!
These special savings that will be taking place starting November 22, 2010. Since these sites are offering exclusive savings at incredible discounted prices, promotional codes will not be accepted.

PYHO - A Side of Grumpy with that?
If you are here for ICLW - Welcome - my story is here.
I woke up in an awful mood this morning. Woke up is a relative term anyway since I may have slept four hours in total last night. Which is becoming par for the course. That was despite taking a Tylenol PM in the hopes that I would get some sleep. My back officially hates the third trimester. The fact that I am supposed to sleep on my sides only aggravates the back pain.
I'm also feeling bitchy for a million other reasons. Work crap, life crap - someone did something they said they wouldn't and someone else who I gladly cut out of my life thinks I don't notice when they read my blog. I do - technology works both ways there. To that person I suggest this - if you want to know what is going on in our family - maybe you should actually make an effort to be a part of it. Honestly - I don't care either way. I'm happy with the way things are right now. I have everything and everyone I need.
So anyhow - back to my foul mood. I needed to bust my way out of it and quick like. It was going to be a miserable day at work today if I didn't. Lack of sleep + bitchiness + back pain do not make a pretty picture. I brought my heating pad to work with me and its trying its best to combat the back pain. So that would be step one. Then I knew I needed my old stand by to brighten my mood - music!
The drive into work consisted of my mix CD I made four years ago for me and my sister - it is titled - "Bar dancing, Booty shaking, Best times ever with your Sista Mix" - and has such fine tunes on it as "It's Your Birthday", "Pour Some Sugar on Me", "Temperature", various Bon Jovi songs and "Sweet Home Alabama". I felt better already.
Now I am sitting at my desk listening to Less Than Jake. After that there will probably be some time spent with Saves The Day, maybe The Spitvalves. You know the bands that got me through college and have all sorts of warm fuzzy feelings attached to them. I know that this mood is just from being tired and overwhelmed. I have so much to look forward to and be happy about - Thanksgiving with my parents tomorrow, 2 Baby showers in December, our maternity photo shoot, Christmas, and Jellybean's impending arrival.
So, I'm not going to wallow in my misery - even though I kind of want to today. Instead I'm going to lose myself in the music and good memories and hope the day just gets better. Then when I get home...I'm taking a nap!
Shell over at Things I Can't Say hosts - Pour Your Heart Out. It is a place to just get whatever is weighing on your heart out. Please be kind to all of the posters.

Top 2 Things on Your Christmas Wish List
1. This living room set. That I was supposed to get back in June but I had to pay to fix the hubby's teeth instead.
2. A new and matching cookware set. I've been asking for three years now so I'm giving up hope on this one!
